Day 10 Sunday 19 february 2006. From the small "mescal" city of Matatlan to Salina Cruz toe see the most beautiful Agave guiengola.

After a relaxing but very windy nights sleep "Bertus was also very windy!!!" in the Hotel "El Pedegral, we continue our trip through Mexico. The illness of Andre is much better now. We are still driving on the Mex.190 and after passing San Pedro Totolapan we found beautiful forms of Agave marmorata. After Camaron at km.86 we found a new form of Agave potatorum.

We stop also by a "Coco Frio"shop. After drinking the nice cool drink, we give the empty bottle back, but they don't give any money in return for the empties like you get if you give an empty bottle back!

Before Santo Domingo Tehuantepec we found the most beautiful site of the whole trip, that's the site of Agave guiengola. Together with a Pilocereus. We stayed on this site till it was dark. In the city of Salina Cruz we found the Hotel Bugambilias with air conditioning in the rooms that was nice and very necessary here!

Next day
